February 22nd-25th

Hi Everyone, I hope that you enjoy your long weekend and get to do some fun things with your family.  The homework has been posted and is due this Friday the 25th, we had two weeks for this set of homework and some extra time to work with the words.

This will be another fun and eventful week of learning.  We have Pink Shirt Day this Wednesday where we will be learning about the history and importance behind this day.  Students can wear a pink shirt to school on Wednesday with their navy uniform pants or skirt.

Also, we will be celebrating 100 days of school on Friday February 25th.  WOW!!!  I know, where has the time gone?  Can you please send in 100 small items with your child on Friday February 25th.   Just some small items that fit into a ziploc baggie.  Examples of items include cheerios, skittles, elastics, dimes, paperclips, etc.  We will be doing some counting and sorting of these objects.

Hi Everyone,

Valentine's Day is almost here!!!  On Monday February 14th, please feel free to wear RED, PINK or PURPLE to school (no uniforms on this day).

Also, I wanted to provide you with a class list in case you are interested in sending in some Valentine Cards with your child.  This is an option only.  If you do want to send in some Valentine's that is great and please be sure to include every child in the class.  Here is class list with first names💕

Ask me what I learned about Lunar New Year.

We loved making our dragons.💕

We are learning about primary and secondary colours in Science.  Painting is fun and we love to experiment.  We learned how to make brown too!!!  

We are looking forward to some more painting this week.💕

In Math, we are learning all about subtraction, we have been using the number line to help us solve math equations. In our word problems, we have been using the strategy of drawing a picture and crossing out to help us discover the answer.

We have kind and caring hearts!!!  We have been reading books about kindness and we are sharing the positive things that we are grateful for so many great things are happening!!!
