Thank you so much for your kind and generous food donations for the Calgary Food Bank.  We really appreciate your generosity.
It is an exciting week ahead.
Students do not need to wear formal uniform if they choose to dress in the following attire instead.  Check each day to see what the dress choice is:
Monday-Formal Christmas Attire or your formal uniform.
Tuesday-Casual Day-wear any colours found in Christmas lights.
Wednesday-Casual Day-wear your elf hat, antlers or Santa hat.
Thursday-Casual Day-wear your Christmas sweater (this is also fun lunch day too).
Friday-Casual Day-wear your PJ's to school.

Please to be sure to continue reading daily and to practice your addition basic facts to 16 for speed and accuracy.

A Peek At Our Learning 

We made some yummy looking shape pizza's!!!  See if your child can point out his/her pizza to you.  We are also learning about 2D shapes and we practiced drawing and cutting out our shapes for our pizza toppings.  To finish it off, we counted the shapes that we used and wrote matching sentences on recipe cards.
